GB March Member Scraplift

|
So I decided to play along with this month's member scraplift challenge.  I created my layout based on this one found in the Flickr gallery.

Michelle Wedertz

And here's my super simple take on Michelle's sweet page:
Love You To The Stars

Here's to hoping I win a $10 gift certificate to the Gossamer Blue store!!!

This Kit Just Keeps On Giving

|
The GB March kits have provided me enough stuff to make a bunch of layouts, the base pages for my March Project 12 and I think I can knock out a few cards as well!  Definitely worth every penny!!

{Heart} This Girl

It's All About This Girl

I used my brand-spanking new Silhouette on the {Heart} This Girl layout, with an Ali Edwards cut purchased from Designer Digitals.  Can't wait to really get going with my Silhouette, I just haven't had a ton of time between Miss Q, the daily stuff and trying to sell my old Cricut + cartridges.  Hope your Sunday is a fun-day!!!

On A Roll...

|
I have whipped up two more layouts using Gossamer Blue's fantastical kits!

Our Routine Quinn @ 11 Mo.

Sock Bun
I have been moving and shaking in my craft room, and totally thrilled with these two layouts.  I want to knock out a few more and make a couple cards and then this kit will be just about put to rest.

New Layout

I am truly having a ball playing along with all the GB blog challenges.  Here's my March Weekend Sketch Challenge layout.

Lots of Glitz Design put to use on this layout!  Keeping fingers crossed that I win :)

Gossamer Blue and Elle's Studio Challenge

|
I was blog hopping earlier and fell over when I was reminded of the fun scraplift challenge from GB and Elle's Studio, so I ran down to my crafty room and whipped up this number on the quick-quick.

I loved the tags from Elle's Studio, in fact I had to restrain myself from using more!  My inspiration came from the adorable Nicole Harper's Time of Her Life layout in the GB Designer Gallery.  I did a more layered (cluttered?) approach and added two more pictures, but you can see the similarities (I hope?!?!?).

Swoon!

I just saw this posting on the Crate Paper blog and nearly passed out and did back handsprings, all at the same time!

The Pier is full of adorable summer icons including popsicles, beach and pool must-haves, carousels, ice cream cones and balloons. Not only are the colors yummy, but the collection is full of adorable kraft paper and gold accents to make the summer palette pop!
Be on the lookout for some of my favorite items in the new collection: the chipboard slide frames, the clothespins with gold designs, and of course, the paper!  I hope you enjoy our newest collection and be prepared, scrolling down will make you want to get out your flip-flops!!

There is not one single thing I dislike about this collection.  Crate has definitely done it again, and I think I want to jump in and swim around in every single thing they create.  The swim suits on the line has my name written all over it.  My name is Jill and I Love Crate Paper!

GB Project 12

|
Here's what I put together for Gossamer Blue's Project 12 challenge...

I used GB's February kits to put my pages together.  I stuck with the Valentine colors and tons of hearts, with a few arrows thrown in.  I'm still having difficulty deciding on photo's, as I tend to take quite a few each month, so I end up trying to pack a bunch in.  Sometimes I feel like my pages look a little sloppy and they aren't quite telling the story I want, so maybe I need to journal more and use less photos.  Having just purchased the Canon Selphy printer, I think I will have an easier time of choosing the right pics to print, instead of printing everything and then trying to decide.  We shall see what the March Project 12 brings!  And I STILL need to work on photographing my layouts, but I'm determined to overcome the iPhone obstacle and nail it next time around :)

This little baby...

|
...turned 1 on March 7th!

Daddy suggested this photo set up, and I'd have to say he had one heckuva great idea!  Isn't it the cutest?
I love this one with Daddy:

Here's another fav...

I went bonkers and got a cake smash outfit from Etsy.  Love!

Here's what Miss Q thought of her cake smash...

I know it's horrible to laugh at a crying baby, but these pics sure cracked this Mama up!  We're having her birthday party on Sunday, I sure hope she enjoys the cake more than she did in these last few pictures.  All in all it was a great photo session, I can't thank the amazing Tracy Perrett enough.  She is so great with Quinn and comes up with ideas super quick.  Just love her photo skills!

I won, I won!

That's a link to the Gossamer Blue blog entry stating that I, Jill Keller, won a challenge!  Yes, ME!  I was so excited I could barely show my husband the email because I was jumping up and down.  Then promptly emailed my entire family.  Here's the email, which is exactly the same as the link above, but I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on seeing my name and the word WINNER together.  It's the little things, people, yes it is.
