Emma's Paperie | Summer Loving

I've got a new, super colorful layout on the Emma's Paperie blog this week!  Our challenge was patterned paper, so I mixed a ton of awesome papers from the Fancy Pants Hello Sunshine collection. I hand cut all the scalloped strips and included die cuts and a Jillibean Soup alpha.

I drew a giant heart with my Silhouette and then machine-stitched the perimeter with white and gold thread.

I have a new layout on the Emma's Paperie blog today, the focus this week is on Sequins and I used tons of'em from Doodelbug.

I poked holes to give the balloons some strings and used floss for bows; I find these little touches make my pages even more special.

Turning 5 was such an amazing day for my girly.  This layout sums it up perfectly.

Emma's Paperie | Chill Out

 I'm sharing this page on the Emma's Paperie blog today!  I used the Snow Fun line by Carta Bella plus a few snowflakes from my Silhouette library to make this layout.

I love this color combo for a winter page!  I smoothed out a bit of the red and white stripes with some white gesso, then added in a few flicks of navy Color Shine and red spray ink.  I opted to make the photo b&w because Miss Q's snow clothes are hot pink, black and white, which was too much color conflict on this page.

Emma's Paperie | Shopaholic

I'm sharing a new page on the Emma's Paperie blog today, this time using the Metropolitan Girl line from Carta Bella Paper.
 

I used lots of fun foam to pop up my elements and give dimension to the page.  I added in a bit of tangled thread and some black ink splatters for additional texture.
