Hey there, I just finished up a new walk-thru video of my TN progress so far. May is on the books and I'll have a new process video with the start of my June TN soon.
I've got a new Q&A video up! Another question from my friend Lauren.... please please please leave some comments with questions so I can continue to do these videos! I really enjoy sitting and thinking about my answers and sharing them with you.
I have another process video below and on my YouTube channel HERE. This time I shared some thoughts while working in my Traveler's Notebook, and hopefully I give you some pointers for yours.
I used embellishments from Gossamer Blue's April kits along with Crate Paper Oasis collection + some washi from my stash.
I don't think I could enjoy working in TN's more than I already do. It's a fast process for me, and such an easy way to document daily life. I'm not sure if I would quit doing 12x12 pages and work solely in TN's, but I have to say doing these little notebooks makes me just as happy as a full layout. I know a few girls who aren't doing 12x12's anymore and it's something I really do think about.... but for now I'll keep this as my weekly, chronological memory keeping.

YouTube and their 15 minute cut off made me split this into two parts. In the next segment Tracy shares valuable tips for taking project photos and I talk quickly about lighting in my videos.

After school drop off it hit me that, like my friend Andrea, I could do a Q&A and make myself more approachable for those in the scrapbook world. So here it is, the intro to my question and answer segment!
Hey! I made a new video using some Bella Blvd Illustrated Faith + Clique Kits items, watch below.
This is 100% a Missy Whidden style layout, I adore Missy's work and credit her with my use of mixed media products on my pages.
Some papers and embellishments came from the December Clique Kits, other products were items in my stash.
The white gesso helps draw the eye in to the center of the page where the photo rests, and the splatters just add some fun to this page. The Illustrated Faith products are so colorful and whimsical!

As I mention in the video, working in a Traveler's Notebook for the first time was a big experiment; I absolutely love this format and will continue some kind of TN in 2017. I love the size, I love the randomness of it, I love just about everything about TN's!
I used a mix of the GB December Memories kit and the December Life Pages kit for this project. Click the words to find the December Memories kit in the GB shop (LP is sold out). I added in some inks and washi tape from my stash to round out the album.
I opted to only go thru Christmas Day, and didn't include a ton of photos from Christmas because I plan to scrap those on regular layouts.
This is by far my favorite December Memories kit that I've done so far. I found it much more freeing than a daily album. I did a blog post for GB on my approach, and you can find that HERE.
Thanks for watching my video, I am hard at work creating projects for CHA, my first time creating for the big trade show! I can't wait to share those projects but it won't be until after the show is over at the end of this month.
