TN | Vol 2, Part 1

|
Well Happy Friday!

I have a quick video sharing the latest progress on my traveler's notebook.  Check it out below or on my YouTube Channel HERE.

As I said in the video, I am just letting it flow with this project.  No worrying about where a month starts or ends in each insert, not thinking about where I'll put all these memories when the year is over....I'm just doing this for the fun of creating!

I'm having a hard time photographing my TN, so if you have tips please let me know!  I didn't really edit these photos, so.....yeah ;)

Have a great weekend!

Pretty Little Studio | Winter Joy

What's up with my winky eye?

Ha!

Gossamer Blue | Delightful

|
This layout is rather simple compared to my usual style, but the gorgeous colors and patterns just spoke for themselves, so why not let them speak?

I really like the color way of this collection from Fancy Pants!  It's so F-R-E-S-H.  And perfect for a layout about my sassy britches girl.

Isn't the photo fab?  My friend Tracy took it at her studio, please check out her work HERE.

I stacked a bunch of die cuts in the corners of the layout, and that was really it!  Super simple, super fast.

SWAK,
xoxo

Pretty Little Studio | Cutie Pie

|
I'm using one of my favorite PLS collections, You & Me Love Story, on the PLS blog today.  Please head over there to see all the details of this layout about my Cutie Pie.

Gossamer Blue | Hugs & Kisses

|
I've lost count of the number of layouts I've made using the Gossamer Blue February kits ;)

This page was made just because I was in the mood to do some hand-stitching.  Sometimes the mood strikes me and I just get busy.

The Simple Stories paper made the stitching pretty dang easy, I just punched holes along the black geo heart and added white thread.  Bam!

To embellish I reached for the Simple Stories planner stickers, adding bunches of little stickers here and there.

The last step was adding in the enamel dots, sprinkling them here and there to add to the stickers.

Hugs!

Crate Paper | I Love You More Than Scramble Bamble

|
Happy Valentine's Day!  I thought I would share a cute little page about Miss Q's love of scrambled eggs!  We call them scramble bamble ;)

I used a super fun file from The Cut Shoppe and my brand new fringe scissors!  Those scissors make me HAPPY!

Feeling fringy,

Maya Road | About Me Wood Pallet

|
Hi there!  I'm sharing my first-ever wood pallet project over on the Maya Road blog today.  I hope you can click on over to read how it all came together.

There are lots of awesome Maya Road goodies on this little 8x8 pallet, I used embossing powder to alter the color of all the metal embellishments.

Stay beautiful!

Crate Paper | Oh Darling

|
So..... I did some reorganizing of the things...... I am not happy with my storage situation.  I went through almost a year's worth of kits and re-grouped items by manufacturer/collection.  Like items went in the large kit bags so I can keep collections together.  If I only had a few items from one manufacturer but also had a few things that coordinate from another manufacturer, those were bagged together.

I'm feeling some peace about my scrapbook room now.

In this process I discovered this adorable cut file by Ashley Horton, already cut and ready for a layout!  I did some smooshing and put this page together with the Cute Girl collection.

I've also started a traveler's notebook about Miss Q's first year and am using some of this collection in that as well.

Stay cute!

Gossamer Blue | Hi

|
My sister was in town the other day, and rode along for school drop off.  To say that Miss Q loves her Aunt Honey is quite the understatement.

I added two papers from the Gossamer Blue February kits to create the background, using my machine to stitch them together.

I used lots of tiny stickers from the Planner and Life Pages kits to embellish, mixing them in with items from the Main scrapbook kit.

I love this fresh take on Valentine colors, the addition of that yellow just makes these kits perfect.

I decided to make a 9x12 layout this time; I like this size when I use smaller photos, it seems like they don't get so lost like they might on a 12x12 page.

You're such a sweet thang ;)

Gossamer Blue | XO

|
Hey guys, I am sharing this page + detail pix over on the Gossamer Blue blog today.  I would appreciate it if you would head over there to read the full post.

It's so funny, I used to hate fussy cutting and now I seem to do it at least once with every kit I receive ;)

Snip snip!

Emma's Paperie | Chill Out

|
I'm sharing this page on the Emma's Paperie blog today!  I used the Snow Fun line by Carta Bella plus a few snowflakes from my Silhouette library to make this layout.

I love this color combo for a winter page!  I smoothed out a bit of the red and white stripes with some white gesso, then added in a few flicks of navy Color Shine and red spray ink.  I opted to make the photo b&w because Miss Q's snow clothes are hot pink, black and white, which was too much color conflict on this page.

Brrrrrrrrr!

Gossamer Blue | Good Stuff

|
As you may have heard, Gossamer Blue debuted a brand new, all exclusive, planner kit!  This stuff is great quality, the February kits are perfect for getting all your lovey dovey stuff in the planner OR put it on a layout!

I made this page with the Main Kit, Life Pages Kit and the Planner Kit, can you believe it?  The patterned paper is from the GB exclusives in the Planner Kit.  I die!

Everything on this page is GB exclusive stuff except for the sequin die cuts and number stickers, which are from Fancy Pants.  Isn't this stuff gorgeous!

I'm using the Planner Kit papers for my traveler's notebook and they need just a bit of trimming to fit, which leaves me with some awesome strips to use as embellishments.

Of course I added some stitching (slightly obsessed!).

This was the first photo I took this year, so I had to document it.

Check out the GB Planner Kit, I think you'll find they are super fresh and perfect for all your paper crafts :)

Get on it,
xoxo
