Pretty Little Studio | Say Cheese

I have a bright and fun, cheesy layout on the Pretty Little Studio blog HERE.  Isn't the girly's smile the absolute cheesiest?  I love it!

Gossamer Blue | My Girl

|
Another layout with the Crate Paper Cute Girl line?  YES PLEASE.

I did a bit of mixed media in the middle of the page to add a bit of whimsy to my page.  I was going for a fun and festive vibe and I think Shimmerz are the perfect way to add some sass to your page!

I layered the photo with some scraps leftover from other projects, then started the embellishing.  I used the Cute Girl sticker sheet, Thickers, a tassel and a few items from my stash.  Just for fun I added some gold thread tangles.

I sprayed the wood veneer "love" with No Yolking Shimmerz before adding it to my page.  The gold epoxy heart ties in to the gold on the tassel and the gold thread.

I used the Gossamer Blue Main Add-on and Bits and Pieces kits for this page.

Stay lovely!

Gossamer Blue | Like A Girl

|
The September Gossamer Blue kits include some really fabulous items from We R Memory Keepers.  I think the bright, bold colors are so refreshing!

I started this page using the exclusive Main Kit cut file from Traci Reed.  I trimmed off one edge and adhered a patterned paper strip, just to add a bit more color and whimsy.  The cut file was machine-stitched to white cardstock from my stash.

I added in hand cut layers, die cuts and gold thread.  This is one of those pages where I threw caution to the wind and just went for big and bold :)

So many great die cuts in this collection, I used a ton!  And there's a sticker sheet in the kits too, icons and alpha's (do you like my secondary title, haha!).

The gold thread ties in all the elements.

Be a bada#@.

Gossamer Blue | Playing House

|
Stamp, fussy cut, stamp, fussy cut, stamp, fussy cut......

It's worth it when you get an awesome look on your page!

I used the Cute Girl stamp set included in the September Bits & Pieces kit from Gossamer Blue, along with some items from the Main Add-on and Main Kit (MK is sold out).

I started my page by cutting a strip of the black scallop paper and sewing it to the pink paper to use as the basis of my page.  Next I stamped a ton of those little houses on 6x6 papers from the Bits & Pieces kit, fussy cutting them and adhering them in rows on the background.  I stitched through each row with gold thread.

To mat my photo I used the black & white houndstooth pattern plus a doily from my stash.

I sewed through my Thickers title as well as some small word stickers from the Cute Girl line.

I added in a few more stickers and chipboard stickers to embellish, finishing the page with the gold foil word at the top of the layout and some splatters of black and white spray inks.

Stay fab!

Gossamer Blue | Take Me Away

|
Lately I've been mixing it up with my background paper; using a strip adhered with washi or machine-stitched to add a little something extra to my layouts.  I also like doing this because it stretches my papers further.  Since I'm not using an entire 12x12 I've got a little extra to use for embellishing or matting photos.

I watercolored white cardstock (I used gesso first) and then stitched a piece Take Me Away patterned paper to the left side.

I adore this die cut couch.  Even though it's slightly random (and I love random!), I think it fit the feel of the layout.  My girly is lounging with her head on my leg and drawing in the photo, so why not use a pink couch on my page?

You can count on seeing these die cut feathers again on my pages.  I have had this Silhouette file in my library for ages and finally remembered to use it on a page!

A soft, random, pretty little layout for you today.

Enjoy the journey.
