I mentioned earlier this month that I have some Gossamer Blue layouts that are a mix of March and April kits, so here's another! If you haven't killed those March kits I think you'll find that they pair perfectly with the April products.
This layout is unique for me in that it has 4 photos and I did the paper piecing and title at an angle. I never do angles! There have been quite a few pages that have caught my eye lately, especially from Missy Whidden, who does an angle like a pro.
I just started cutting strips of March and April papers and laying them out on the background paper from the April kit. I like the punches of color from the March papers against the more subtle papers in April.
I used several embellishments from the April Planner kit, and the title is a mix of April Thickers and March alphas.
I sewed through the wood veneer with my machine, hand-cranking the needle just to be safe.
I contemplated sewing down all the paper strips but felt like it would have been lost on this layout. It also saved me a ton of time ;)
Good Times,
xoxo
